1958 OLDSMOBILE 2 DOOR HARD TOP Older restoration - approx 15 years - but used sparingly - as previous owner had 20 plus cars (was 'down sizing' when I purchased this car from him. I usually have a half dozen cars at any one time. Now, 8 years later I am 'downsizing'. I have owned this car since 2007. Have some documentation stating car came from TEXAS in year 2000 and was then in OHIO.(Have copy of TITLE from Ohio -year 2000) Also have invoices whereby approx $7,000 dollars was spent to completely rebuild - and balance - the motor. This was completed in summer of 2007 - just months before I purchased the car. The motor has had a complete professional rebuild in July of 2007- I have the invoice for this work - $ 7,000.00 Since owning the car I have done the following: Factory compressor was missing - located one- had it re built and installed - 2009 Had Transponder radio - serviced 2009 (volume is weak) Had gas tank off - Hot tank dipped/cleaned and replaced. (2013) New radial Wide White Wall Tires installed summer of 2010 (1,000 Mi.) Had Air Cond Serviced and put in good working order 2014 Since I have owned the car - summer 2007 - I have only put on approx 1,500 miles - local except one trip summer of 2010 -approx 500 miles.
